The Macabre Solutions Buddy Counterweight Pouch (BCP) is a scalable counterweight pouch that is the perfect compliment to any head-mounted night vision or thermal system. Critical for long-term comfort is proper weight fore/aft weight balance. Improperly balanced head-mounted systems will dig into your brow, shift around and quickly cause discomfort.

Easy to Use

The Buddy Counterweight Pouch is simple to use and stays flush to the helmet:

1. Open the 2 velcro flaps
2. Insert Weight Rods, CR123As, or 18650 batteries in the elastic loops to achieve the precise weight you need to balance your helmet perfectly
3. Close flap
4. Like our BLOCK pouch, the Buddy Pouch is actively retained to the helmet via the included shock cord and laminate tabs. The laminate tabs are installed into the helmet via the rear helmet bolts. For helmets without easily-accessible or no rear helmet bolts, the shock cord can be simply looped through the helmet accessory rails.

Scalable Weight

Made in Canada by Macabre Solutions from US materials, the Buddy Counterweight Pouch is scalable to accommodate for a wide range of required weights. The Buddy Pouch can come with your choice of up to 5 Weight Rods. Each Weight Rod is:

• 100% Made in Canada from mild steel then black oxide coated for a lifetime of use
• Will not oxidize or rust overtime unlike brass or iron; maintains stealthy appearance from all angles
• Is non-toxic
• weighs 125g each providing up to 625g of total weight with 5 rods (4 rods are recommended minimum weight for most binocular systems; 2 rods are recommended for monoculars)

The CBP comes with loop velcro on the outside flap to accommodate for flag or ID patches as required.
