We are currently seeking professional(s) to fill the following roles at our Toronto, ON facility.

Media Specialist - Video & Photo - Cold Harbour Creative

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Must be a Canadian citizen
  • Secondary School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of cumulative full-time or full-time equivalent experience in videography and photography including pre- and post-production
  • Prior experience working in or with frontline military and/or law enforcement and/or around night vision or thermal optics would be assets
  • Expert familiarity with mirrorless cameras required (Sony preferred)
  • Experience working with on- and off-camera lighting (strobe and studio lighting)
  • Must have 20/20 eyesight (corrected vision is OK)
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs
  • Intermediate to Expert level familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects)
  • Experience working with motion graphics is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Marketing Manager in the pre-production planning and operations including but not limited to: storyboarding, equipment preparation, permit registration, scripting, etc
  • Record photo and video both in-studio and in-field as directed
  • Edit and colour-grade both short- (<1 min) and long-form content (10+ mins)
  • Edit photos to CHC standards

You are a media professional with experience filming, photographing and assembling eye-catching content. You are looking to grow your passion for photography and videography by applying your skills to the night vision and tactical industries. You are looking to be continuously challenged in both breadth and depth of the content production required and will continue to grow with the company. You are not afraid to take ownership of deliverables and will do what it takes to produce stunning content on-time.

Fine Print:

  • This role will start as a part-time/contract role and will evolve into a full-time position provided a mutual fit
  • This is NOT a Work From Home role. You are expected to attend the office daily
  • Remuneration will be paid monthly
  • Start Date - Flexible but immediate availability is preferred
  • Office is located near Highway 404/401 in North York
  • Due to the sensitive nature of our work, a criminal background check will be conducted
  • All photo and video equipment will be provided by CHC

E-Commerce Operations Manager - Cold Harbour Supply

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Must be a Canadian citizen
  • Bachelor and/or Master of Business Administration, Applied Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar post-secondary education required
  • Understanding of standard accounting principles and inventory management required
  • Minimum 4 years of back-office experience in e-commerce business and/or Outside Sales experience required
  • Prior experience working in or with frontline military and/or law enforcement would be an asset
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while managing cross-functional teams required
  • Must be able to type 80+ wpm
  • Experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platform preferred but not required
  • Expert end-user level familiarity with headborne night vision devices preferred but not required
  • Must have 20/20 eyesight or better (corrective vision to 20/20 is permitted)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Technical Assembly and the Shipping & Receiving teams on a day-to-day basis
  • Manage inventory levels daily and place POs in a timely manner for both stocking and on-demand inventory
  • Work with Sales & Marketing team to plan and execute on sales campaigns based on available inventory
  • Create and/or implement internal processes to drive order accuracy, improve efficiency, and drive e-commerce growth
  • Ensure E-commerce channel has accurate, actionable, up-to-date data on a daily basis
  • Participate in the career progression and growth of the larger E-commerce team via performance reviews and mentorship
  • Participate in the sales cycle, and assist with pre- and post-sales technical questions and represent the company both online and at in-person events
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take on new challenges with a positive attitude
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple deadlines while maintaining careful attention to detail
  • Flexibility in schedule to meet customer deadlines and internal initiatives
  • Leadership skillset and desire to make meaningful contributions in a fast-paced team environment
  • This role reports directly into the Chief Executive Officer

You are a natural leader with a keen eye for detail. You are looking to grow your passion for night vision by becoming a critical part of the night vision industry and learning the minute, technical aspects of night vision and thermal devices. You possess an extreme level of attention to detail and consistently uphold high standards for your work and those around you.
