The Tac Aerial Custom Goggles 3 is a pre-modified version of the DJI Goggles 3 with our Brow Pad Delete and Goggles 3 Mount for enhanced integration with helmet systems. By removing the factory brow pad and strap, the TAC Goggles 3 offers a much smoother deploy/stow experience and users are able to easily use all of the adjustments of their NVG mount. Tac Aerial uses factory-new DJI Goggles 3 and perform the retrofit entirely in-house in a clean room.
The TAC Goggles 3 includes:
Removal of brow pad and hinge mechanism
Relocation of factory antennas to the main body of the Goggles 3
Removal of fabric head strap
Installation of battery pack and Goggles 3 custom plugs to prevent dirt and water intrusion
Re-wrapping and re-routing of factory power wire with abrasion and cut-resistant tubing for years of reliable service
Each Goggle is modified and fully-tested for function prior to shipping. Note that the TAC Goggles 3 will not come with the factory brow pad and should always be used on a helmet.
