We are currently seeking professionals to fill the following roles at our Toronto, ON facility.

Technical Associate (Full-Time)

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Must be a Canadian citizen
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with precision mechanical and electrical hand tools (precision torque screw drivers, soldering iron, etc) - hobbyist experience is accepted
  • End-user level familiarity with headborne night vision devices is preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a warehouse/inventory control setting preferred but not required
  • Minimum 1 year of front-facing customer sales/service
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have 20/20 eyesight or better (corrective vision to 20/20 is permitted)
  • Expert familiarity with standard Office productivity software (Google Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, etc)
  • Must be able to type at least 60wpm
  • Familiarity around both Mac and Windows PCs

Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting assembly instructions and schematics and applying them in the assembly and/or maintenance of complete products or components
  • Using specialty tools and equipment to perform assembly and inspection with a high level of precision and dexterity
  • Performing complete end-to-end QA on complete devices and/or components
  • Pick and pack orders in an accurate and expedient manner
  • Interpret packing lists, instructions, complete shipping manifests and customs documents
  • Take ownership of inventory management and identify low/no-stock items
  • Receive and stock inventory as required
  • Assist in media production by capturing videos and/or images (instructions will be provided)
  • Participate and assist with pre-sale technical questions and represent the company both online and at in-person events

About You:

You are a technical person with extensive hands-on mechanical and/or micro-electronics experience and are looking to be challenged with a high breadth and depth of tasks. You are looking to grow your passion for night vision by becoming a critical part of the night vision industry and learning the minute, technical aspects of night vision and thermal devices. You possess an extreme level of attention to detail and consistently uphold high standards for your work and those around you. You are not only highly ethical but also have an above-average work ethic.

Fine Print:

  • This is NOT a work from home role. You are expected to attend the office daily
  • Remuneration will be paid on a monthly basis at an annual salary rate
  • Start Date - Flexible
  • Office is located near DVP and Lakeshore but will re-locate to Leslie and York Mills in the near future
