The Cold Harbour MH14 Dual Bridge (MH14DB) is a rugged full-metal bridge system that will allow you to quickly put two PVS-14s together to instantly create a binocular night vision system or one PVS-14 and one iRay MH25 to create a true hybrid, full-spectrum system. Users will be able to have the flexibility of two independent monoculars, or if one monocular is not used, one of the arms could be removed to create a simple J-arm for one eye. This is perfect for users who own a PVS-14 and are contemplating adding another in the future, but do not want the added hassle of buying and selling a J-arm.
Two indexing protrusions on each arm mate directly with the PVS-14's auto-off contacts to prevent un-wanted rotation of each device. The dovetail is precision-machined to milspec dovetail tolerances and is guaranteed for a solid lockup on milspec night vision mounts.
Any one of the PVS-14 arms can be easily removed and replaced with the optional MH25 adapter plate. The adapter plate securely attaches directly to the MH25 and bypasses the mini-rail to provide the most secure mounting platform available. This innovative adapter plate features FOUR mounting choices (fore/aft and left/right) to allow the user to fine-tune the position of the MH25 relative to an accompanying PVS-14. Finally two of the mounting holes are slightly slotted to allow users the ability to pan the MH25 slightly inboard or outboard to line up with the an accompanying PVS-14's image if desired. The completed setup can place an MH25 and PVS-14 at the same parallel eyeline and eye relief and is recommended that MH25s with our MH14 eyepiece be used for this setup for optimum device use.
Note: To reduce weight, all hardware on the MH14 bridge is made of aluminum and is softer than steel hardware. As a result, a small amount of loctite has been applied on all hardware. Caution should be exercised when disassembling the bridge and installing devices and loctite applied again.
