Developed for the special operations community to reduce headborne weight and helmet profile, the Cold Harbour Cadex Helmet Integrated Plate (CHIP) is a retrofit to the Cadex NVG mount that yields more than a 25% reduction in weight from currently fielded NVG mounting solutions. The CHIP bypasses the standard NVG shroud and mount interface to attach directly to any helmet drilled in the standard 3-hole MARSOC/WARCOM hole pattern.
The CHIP retains all of the industry-leading features of the Cadex NVG mount and is the one of the most rugged, lowest weight, and lowest-profile helmet mount solutions.
