ELF-FB20 / Jerry-FB 2.0 Thermal Fusion Night Vision Binoculars

The ELF-FB20 or commonly referred to as the "Jerry-FB 2.0" is the next iteration of the wildly successful Jerry-FB Thermal Fusion Binocular Night Vision Goggle. Unlike a COTI which projects the thermal image through the front of the goggle and may cause intensifier burn-in from the thermal display, the ELF-FB20 is a true thermal fusion device that overlays the thermal image on output side of the image over the night vision image (also known as "eye-side" fusion).

Another main drawback of COTI-based systems is the thermal signal is projected into the image intensifiers' input side, the thermal image tends to get washed out in bright situations (eg: urban, suburban, or dynamic lighting). In a true fusion system like the ELF-FB20, the thermal is projected and overlaid after the image intensifier tubes' output screen, completely removing any risk of wash-out or image intensifier burn-in.

A major benefit of true fusion systems is the ability to display the fusion in a different colour (eg: red hot mode), further enhancing situational awareness and ability for the operator to distinguish between night vision and thermal images.

The ELF-FB20 is assembled with your choice of NNVT 1400+ FOM, 1600+ FOM, Photonis Echo 1800-2200 FOM,  Photonis Echo+ 2200+ FOM, 2200+ FOM, or Photonis 4G 1800-2200+ FOM, or NNVT Gen3 2000+ FOM white phosphor image intensifier tubes. Each ELF-FB20 is cleaned, assembled, purged, and tested in-house in Canada with precision tools using our digital nitrogen purging rig, downdraft table, and clean room. Each device will also be tested and collimated using our in-house Hoffman night vision test set and a full test report will accompany each unit.
